To give me the reason
That I have to face another day of this world
To see the work that’s left undone
To hear that from mark, I’m still so far…
I’ll never make it past

I need your love with its hugs and kisses
To tell me it’s alright
That I seem to fall the same ways time after time
To lift me up from my knees
And to leave the scars behind me
So to realize
I’m not all alone

I need your love each and everyday
Would you be right here?

Every step that I take
Each page

To tell me the story
That I need to hear before my heart is still
For when my heart is silent

It’s then I realize
